Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) in Baytown, TX seeks a Material Expeditor to coordinate and expedite materials on the jobsite, ensuring alignment with production and shipping schedules. You will inspect deliveries, track material status, and transfer items to meet planed timelines.

You will work as part of the Koch Engineered Solutions family, contributing to safe, efficient project execution and a strong safety culture while staying adaptable to field conditions and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience handling pipe, valves, and fittings in gas plant construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and material specs.
• Strong teamwork and customer-focused mindset in fast-paced field settings.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures on site.
• Capable of meeting physical demands including lifting and moving materials.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite flow of materials within the jobsite according to production and shipping schedules.
• Examine material delivered to jobsite for damages.
• Arrange on site transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain status and location of materials.
• Monitor and control movement of material upon arrival to the site.
• Be a team player with customer focus in all decisions and actions.
• Enforce OPD and client safety policies on the jobsite.
