Job summary

Terracon in Sacramento seeks a seasoned project manager to lead facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to scope and budget, coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include defining scope, schedule, and budgets, developing plans, supervising staff, managing resources and vendors, and preparing reports. A PE/PG is preferred; a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology plus at least 5 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized project.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with the client.
• Develop and implement a project plan to meet milestones.
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety plans.
• Coordinate resources, including external vendors and contractors.
• Prepare reports and communicate status to client and team.
• Involves invoicing, change orders, and collections.
