AirClean Systems, Inc. is seeking a Materials Co-op in the Engineering department.

The role involves planning and executing experiments with tensile tester, DSC, rheometer, FTIR, and microscopy, while learning fundamentals of chemistry related to silicone rubbers, adhesives, polyurethane, and silanes. You will gain experience with Minitab, data analysis, and design of experiments in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of college general chemistry with lab is required.
• Completion of an organic chemistry class is a plus.
• Previous hands-on related experiences from co-op and research will be a plus.
• Exposure to basic statistical concept is a plus.
• Undergraduate or masters students will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Planning, execute, analyze, summarize, and present experiments using tensile tester, DSC, rheometer, FTIR, and microscopy.
• Learn fundamentals of chemistry for silicone rubbers, silicone adhesives, polyurethane, silanes.
• Get acquainted with Minitab, data analysis, and DOE.
• Work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
