Job Description

Elzly Technology Corporation (Elzly) is seeking to fill multiple full-time Staff to Senior-Level Engineer positions to support various clients and projects. Responsibilities and level of responsibility will align with the candidate's experience. Positions are available at Elzly’s offices in Reston, VA, Vineland, NJ, or Philadelphia, PA. Elzly is a growing consulting-engineering firm specializing in corrosion prevention and control, offering services such as field investigations, research, testing, training development, and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with technical staff on projects for the Department of Defense and other clients, focusing on improving military readiness by addressing corrosion issues on weapons systems and infrastructure.
  2. Support project tasks including field inspections, demonstrations, proof of concept testing, literature reviews, data analysis, presentations, specifications, prototype design, and project management.
  3. As experience grows, assume greater technical and managerial responsibilities, engaging in larger projects and increased client interaction, with compensation reflecting experience.
Job Requirements:
  • Travel required, minimum 33%, varies by assignment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and willing to pursue or hold a government security clearance.
  • Open to candidates with up to 10 years of relevant experience, including entry-level candidates.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; high school diploma/GED with extensive experience or military background may be considered.
  • Experience in corrosion, coatings, or materials science, and military experience are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills; writing samples may be requested.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work independently or remotely.
  • Experience with hand tools, electronic/mechanical systems, and lab equipment is highly desired; familiarity with LabVIEW, CAD/3D, Minitab, programming, and circuitry is preferred.

The position involves working primarily at one of our offices or at client sites, with potential telework options for self-motivated candidates. Most work will be collaborative and onsite or at client facilities.

Salary range: $70,000-$130,000 annually, based on experience and level, with comprehensive benefits.

Physical Requirements:

Includes vision, manual dexterity, focus adjustment, ability to lift 20 pounds, work outdoors, in confined spaces, and wear respirators, among others.
