Job Description:

As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work on complex engineering challenges across industries such as automotive, construction, consumer products, electronics, and medical devices. This role involves managing client assignments, networking, and business development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct failure analysis investigations
  • Plan and execute laboratory tests
  • Perform field inspections
  • Communicate with clients and provide counsel
  • Prepare critique reports and technical reports
  • Develop relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients
  • Attend hearings, trials, and mediations
  • Manage multiple engagements effectively
QUALIFICATIONS
  • PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion, Electrochemistry, or MS with 5+ years of engineering consulting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of materials characterization techniques (SEM, EDS, XPS, Auger, SIMS, FTIR, X-ray)
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt and develop creative solutions
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent listening, technical, and presentation skills
  • Leadership desire and capacity to support a growing practice
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
