Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions in Columbia, PA seeks a Material Dispatcher in the Manufacturing - Machine Shop to keep inventory locations organized, support schedules, and move materials using the M3 system. This role collaborates with supervisors/expeditors and material handlers to ensure efficient product flow.

Responsibilities include reviewing dispatch reports, issuing MOs, cycle counting, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management and material movement in a manufacturing setting.
• Licensed forklift operator and ability to move materials safely.
• Proficiency with M3 system and handheld scanners for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Review work center dispatch reports and print travelers for MOs.
• Issue MOs to material handlers to pull and issue materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned locations.
• Cycle count inventory and investigate discrepancies with cross-functional support.
• Assist scheduling and material movement to equipment; stage materials as needed.
• Ensure smooth product flow and proper transactions across locations.
