Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Materials Dispatcher in Columbia, PA. You will manage material movements, issue manufacturing orders to material handlers, and help ensure accurate inventory across locations using M3 and handheld scanners.

The role requires forklift certification and collaboration with supervision to maintain smooth product flow. Primary responsibilities include cycle counting, discrepancy investigations, and setup of barcode-labeled locations.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed forklift operator.
• Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Ability to coordinate material flow with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review dispatch reports and issue travelers for MOs.
• Issue MOs to material handlers to pull and issue materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned locations.
• Cycle count inventory and investigate discrepancies with a cross-functional team.
• Assist with scheduling and moving material to equipment as needed.
• Work with supervisor/expeditor to ensure smooth product flow.
• Set up inventory locations with bar code labels and use handheld scanners.
