Job summary

Howmet Kingston facility is seeking a Material Coordinator to handle shipping, receiving, steel room duties, and material handling in the Stockroom Department. You will prepare shipments, verify origin, process paperwork, and maintain inventory at the Kingston plant.

Key tasks include cycle counting, moving parts between centers, and ensuring safety and 5S standards. Requires a high school diploma and 1 year in manufacturing/warehouse setting; on-site work in Kingston, NY.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for shipment, including picking items and packing; ensure export requirements are met.
• Receive deliveries and process paperwork; stock at defined location.
• Move parts between work centers; prep outsourcing items for pickup schedule.
• Maintain steel room; ensure proper storage and accurate system inventory.
• Complete daily cycle counts; troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Maintain 5S in area; update charts.
• Adhere to safety and environmental standards.
