Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Kingston facility seeks a Material Coordinator to support shipping, receiving, steel room, and material handling daily operations. This on-site role is part of the Stockroom Department at Kingston, NY.

Responsibilities include packing, documentation, inventory control, and cycle counting, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive hourly wages. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for shipment, including packing and documentation; ensure export requirements are met.
• Receive deliveries and process paperwork in system; deliver and stock at defined location.
• Move parts between manufacturing work centers to meet pick-up schedule.
• Maintain steel room, including storage and inventory accuracy.
• Complete daily cycle counting and address discrepancies.
• Maintain 5S in assigned area and update charts; perform operator duties as needed.

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Material Coordinator to work in tandem with co-workers to ensure all aspects of shipping, receiving, steel room and material handling duties are met daily. This position is part of the Stockroom Department at the Kingston, NY manufacturing facility.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare product for shipment, including picking items, county of origin verification, packing and completing all required documentation. Ensure all Export requirements are met;
• Receive deliveries and process paperwork in system. Deliver and stock in at defined location;
• Move parts from manufacturing work centers as needed, ensuring outsourcing items are prepared to meet pick up schedule;
• Maintain Steel room, including, material identification, proper storage and accurate system inventory;
• Complete daily cycle counting;
• Perform troubleshooting activities on discrepancies in all areas of the department;
• Maintain 5S in assigned area, including updating charts;
• Performs duties of Operator as required;
• Perform all other duties assigned;

Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $22.82/hr - $26.18/hr.
