Job Description
Position Overview:

Continuously improve production planning, inventory control, customer service, and logistics. Support Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments with administrative needs.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work professionally and promptly with customers via verbal and electronic communication.
  • Perform daily production planning and monthly scheduling to optimize equipment efficiency.
  • Enter sales orders and manage changes to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Procure raw and shipping materials needed for production.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding product, delivery, and planning needs.
  • Coordinate scheduling with production, maintenance, and internal teams.
  • Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and logistics scheduling.
  • Report production information at shift end.
  • Implement approved material or process changes, communicating and following up with production.
  • Stay updated on technical developments to advise management and train employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by site leadership.
  • Lead by example, including filling in on the production floor and covering shifts, demonstrating teamwork and work ethic.
  • Support other administrative tasks related to production, quality, and materials.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED; post-secondary education preferred in Business Management or Manufacturing.
Competencies
  • Effective professional communication with all levels.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and make independent judgments.
  • Proficiency with computers and related software.
  • Willingness to work required overtime.
