Job summary

MiTek Industries in Houston, TX is seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure accurate receipt, labeling, and storage of incoming materials. You will deliver raw materials to production areas and transport job materials with travelers to the correct work centers, preparing outbound shipments and documentation for customer orders.

The role requires ability to pull parts from inventory, issue to work orders, stage for shipping, and move WIP between centers.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Up to 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems preferred.
• RF scanner experience preferred.
• Class A CDL and DOT Hazardous Materials handling certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from inventory and issue to work orders.
• Deliver raw materials to production areas and to designated work centers.
• Move WIP materials between work centers after each operation.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and accompanying documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Attend the scheduled shift on time and ready to work.
