Job summary

MiTek in Houston, TX is seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure the accurate receipt, labeling, and storage of incoming materials. You will deliver raw materials to production areas and transport job materials to the appropriate work centers.

Responsibilities include pulling parts from inventory, staging for sales orders and shipping, moving WIP between centers, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role requires reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to read instructions

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Up to 1 year of related experience required.
• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems preferred.
• RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications.
• Class A DOT certification for Hazardous Material Handling and shipping preferred.
• Certified Forklift Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from inventory, issue to work orders, and deliver to the appropriate work centers.
• Retrieve parts for sales orders and stage them for shipping.
• Move WIP materials between work centers upon completion of each operation.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is essential; be on time and ready at the workstation.
