Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Materials Handler to coordinate parts for Manufacturing and support throughput. You will transact inventory in the ERP system, assist with part movement across the plant, and help maintain a safe, clean work environment.

The role requires forklift operation, training support for new staff, and adherence to safety standards. On-site role with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehousing and material handling.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 35 pounds and work on feet.

Responsibilities

• Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe, productive working environment.
• Manage warehouse and line-side inventory and coordinate parts movement.
• Use ERP system to enter data, track inventory, and resolve discrepancies.
• Locate missing materials and assist in cycle counting activities.
• Operate forklift/tow motor safely and assist training new staff.
