Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, seeks a Materials Associate to coordinate parts for manufacturing and support Team Leaders to maintain throughput. You will use ERP to transact inventory, verify part availability, and move parts across the plant with a forklift and other MHE.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, managing line-side inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe workspace while supporting cross‑shift collaboration and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior warehousing and material handling experience is required.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and proficient computer skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and operate safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate parts for Manufacturing and support Team Leaders to facilitate throughput.
• Transact inventory in ERP and investigate part availability across plants.
• Transport parts using forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE).
• Assist in cycle counting and maintain clean, safe working areas.
• Manage warehouse pick schedules and line-side inventory, adjusting to shifts.
• Review work orders and identify specific parts to ensure correct placement.
