Job summary

Buckley Cable Construction is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to join a two-person team on-site in our Connecticut operation. You will handle inventory, load/unload trucks with a sit-down forklift, and prepare shipments between Buckley warehouses. The role requires lifting 60+ lbs, basic Excel use, and strong reliability.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to regularly lift 60+ lbs.
• Comfortable using a laptop, email, and basic Excel.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, organize, and maintain inventory.
• Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift.
• Stock materials and assist field crews when they come in.
• Build pallets and prepare BOLs for shipments between Buckley warehouses.
• Break down and palletize Line Extenders and Mini Bridger Amps for reuse.
• Enter information into Excel and our inventory system.
• Communicate with management, clients, and other locations as needed.
• Help keep the warehouse, materials, and company equipment clean, safe, and organized.
• Pitch in with other day-to-day tasks that come with running a small warehouse.

Job description

Buckley Cable Construction is family owned and operated. We build and maintain the cable networks our communities use every day.

Our warehouses are small, hands-on operations typically run by one or two people and holding approximately 3,000 to 5,000 pieces of inventory. This isn't a large automated warehouse where you'll spend all day scanning boxes or doing the same task.

We're looking for someone dependable, organized, and willing to take initiative. You'll work as part of a two-person team handling inventory, preparing shipments, operating a forklift, and keeping the warehouse running day to day.

At Buckley you won't have someone standing over your shoulder. We need someone who can see what needs to be done, handle it, and ask for help when needed.

What You'll Do

Schedule

Full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday

Training is generally 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Once trained, the two warehouse employees work together with management to establish eight-hour schedules between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM that provide coverage while working for the team.

Frequent overtime opportunities are available.

Pay & Benefits

$17 to $18 per hour, based on experience
