Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to play a vital role in our supply chain. In this role, you'll manage procurement activities that directly impact production capabilities and customer satisfaction while collaborating with multiple teams across the organization.

You will execute purchase orders for production and non-production needs, support supplier quality, maintain production schedules, and assist with RFQs and audits to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.
  • Experience interpreting purchasing documents and procurement processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute purchase orders for production and non-production needs to support manufacturing operations.
  • Support supplier quality management, including handling material returns and related transactions.
  • Collaborate with the quality team on supplier development initiatives.
  • Create and maintain production schedules to optimize workflow.
  • Process invoicing for sales orders and manage PO receipts timely.
  • Support RFQ processes and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Coordinate with Quality to address non-conformances and improve supplier performance.
  • Provide backup for distribution functions, including shipping clerk duties.
  • Keep the Product Fulfillment Manager informed about supply chain challenges and changes.
  • Coordinate product return activities including repacking, restocking, and invoicing.
  • Participate in supplier and internal audits.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to play a vital role in our supply chain operations. In this dynamic position, you'll manage procurement activities that directly impact our production capabilities and customer satisfaction while working closely with multiple teams across the organization.

What you'll get to do
  • Execute purchase orders for both production and non-production needs to ensure manufacturing operations flow smoothly
  • Support supplier quality management, including handling material returns and associated transactions
  • Collaborate with our quality team on supplier development initiatives
  • Create and maintain production schedules to optimize workflow
  • Process invoicing for sales orders and manage purchase order receipts in a timely manner
  • Support RFQ processes and maintain supplier relationships
  • Partner with Quality department to address non-conformance reports and improve supplier performance
  • Provide backup for distribution functions, including shipping clerk responsibilities
  • Keep the Product Fulfillment Manager informed about supply chain challenges such as lead time issues, shortages, and price changes
  • Coordinate product return activities including repacking, restocking, and invoicing
  • Participate in supplier and internal audits
What you bring to the team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
  • Experience interpreting purchasing documents and procurement processing
  • Proficiency with business software incuding Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands based on customer expectationsand business impact
  • Self-motivated with an analytical problem-solving approach
  • Willingness to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
