Job summary

Venturi Supply is seeking a Material Coordinator to oversee the flow of materials across the supply chain. You will track, receive, store, and distribute materials in alignment with production needs, working with vendors, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure timely availability.

The role requires 2+ years in material handling or inventory control, proficiency with MS Office 365, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; associate degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or supply chain coordination.
  • Proficient with MS Office 365; computer literate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple priorities.

  • Monitor MTR Outlook inbox to identify and process incoming MTR documents.
  • Respond to emailed requests for MTR paperwork with accurate documentation.
  • Organize all MTR documents and attach to inventory records in the ERP system.
  • Monitor current sales requiring MTR documents and provide information promptly.
  • Assist fellow associates in clerical tasks in the dispatch office.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Role Overview

The Material Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of materials throughout the supply chain. This role ensures that materials are accurately tracked, received, stored, and distributed in alignment with production and operational needs. The Material Coordinator works closely with vendors, warehouse staff, and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, an associate's degree in supply chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or supply chain coordination.
  • Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
  • Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].

  • Detailed-oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach.
  • Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
