Job summary

MARTA is seeking a warehouse Storeroom Associate to receive, store, and issue parts and materials for Bus, Rail, and Facilities maintenance. You will assist with part identification, ordering, and inventory records, and use material handling equipment to move items safely.

Responsibilities include data entry to EAM/FASuite and Oracle, preparing documentation, and delivering parts as needed. CDL requirements and safety procedures apply to this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least two years warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and write parts names and Storeroom information.
• Proficiency in keyboard data entry for EAM/FASuite and Oracle input requirements.
• Ability to enter data accurately at a reasonable rate.
• Floating relief requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Receives, records, stores, and issues materials and equipment in MARTA storerooms.
• Assists maintenance in identification, nomenclature, and ordering of parts and materials.
• Maintains quantity, cost, and type records; stock location files and documentation.
• Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Prepares and submits documentation for each transaction manually or via terminal.
• May deliver parts using cargo or light trucks.
