Responsibilities

• Ensure part request orders are delivered to production floor in a timely manner.
• Transfer product in SAP from the Warehouse to production floor storage locations with the scanner.
• Troubleshoot common SAP errors during warehouse transactions.
• Maintain the accuracy of the warehouse rack inventory system by performing rack checks.
• Order truck delivery from outside warehouse to the plant based on production requests.
• File pack slips correctly and ensure transfers from outside warehouse to the plant in SAP.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly Warehouse and surrounding areas.
• Assist with 5S and LEAN housekeeping initiatives.
• Any additional duties as assigned.

Looking for Materials Clerk jobs in Greeneville where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.

Job Duties

• Ensure that any part request orders are delivered to the production floor as requested in a timely manner
• Ability to transfer product in SAP from the Warehouse to the appropriate production floor storage locations with the scanner
• Ability to troubleshoot common SAP errors during warehouse transactions
• Maintain the accuracy of the warehouse rack inventory system by performing rack checks as assigned
• Order truck delivery from outside warehouse to the plant based on production requests

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
• Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Materials Clerk.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
