Job summary

E-Space is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Arlington, TX team, supporting the Materials Characterization Lab on advanced manufacturing and aerospace projects. This hands-on role offers exposure to multiple disciplines and real-world impact in space-based systems.

You will assist in measurements, write test plans, analyze data, and collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes. Current STEM students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Chemistry, Physics, or related STEM field.
  • Exposure to programming platforms (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and hands-on skills; comfortable working in lab.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation (test plans, work instructions, reports).
  • Enthusiasm for learning, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the measurement and analysis of electro-optical and semiconductor components.
  • Write and maintain test plans, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in executing functional and performance tests, collecting and analyzing data.
  • Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to troubleshoot, solve problems, and implement improvements.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and innovation in the lab environment.
