Job summary

E-Space is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our Materials Characterization Lab. The role offers hands-on exposure to materials characterization and test techniques, supporting engineers on projects that drive innovation in advanced manufacturing and aerospace systems.

Current students pursuing a Bachelor’s in STEM, with exposure to Python, C/C++, or MATLAB, will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers to troubleshoot and improve lab processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields.
• Exposure to programming platforms (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on skills; comfortable working in lab.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation (test plans, work instructions, reports).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the measurement and analysis of electro-optical and semiconductor components.
• Write and maintain test plans, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Assist in executing functional and performance tests, collecting and analyzing data.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to troubleshoot, solve problems, and implement improvements.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and innovation in the lab environment.
