Qualifications

• Two years of purchasing, planning, inventory control, or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
• Strong reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary owner for assigned commodities, maintaining material availability and PO execution.
• Plan and purchase materials to support production schedules and forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with suppliers on order status, shipment information, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor supplier performance and follow up on commitments to ensure material availability.
• Review demand forecasts, inventory levels, and lead times to determine replenishment.
• Identify and mitigate shortages, oversold positions, and supply risks with proactive actions.
• Prepare and manage open order reporting and supplier status reporting.
• Communicate delays, shortages, and risks to stakeholders and other departments.
