Base Power Company is seeking a Materials Associate to accurately process shipments, maintain clean work areas, verify product quality, and document orders. This role collaborates with production to meet schedules and customer expectations.

The position emphasizes safe handling, attention to detail, and effective communication with the team in a fast-paced startup environment. Responsibilities include shipping, receiving, and material handling, with physical duties such as lifting up to 70 lbs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs.
• Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be comfortable with manual labor and working in a physically demanding environment.
• Perform demanding physical tasks for extended periods, up to 12 hours a day
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, and twist for prolonged periods, up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Shipping: package, verify paperwork, generate bills of lading and document shipments.
• Receiving: process inbound shipments, inspect quality, and update records.
• Material handling: load/unload, local deliveries, and keep areas clean and organized.
