Job summary

  • Experience with mechanical testing using load frames or similar equipment.
  • Experience contributing to the disposition of nonconformances.
  • Hands-on experience with the manufacturing or testing of high temperature materials.
  • Familiarity with NDE techniques.
  • Experience with materials characterization (SEM, EDS, XRD, ICP).
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • CAD software experience preferred.

Plasma Processes, a supplier of advanced coatings and additively manufactured material solutions for aerospace, defense, power generation, and other key industries has an immediate opening for a Materials and Process Engineer. The candidate will support advanced materials development using innovative manufacturing methods. Experience with thermal barrier coatings (TBC), ultrahigh temperature ceramics (UHTC), and refractory materials is preferred.

Job Summary

This position will involve developing, characterizing, and maturing materials and processes for propulsion and other high-temperature applications. The goal of this position is to conduct research efforts and manage development and, or production programs within DoD and prime contractors.
