Job summary

Waters is seeking a Material Handler in Sparks, MD to support shipping, receiving, and material staging in a GMP environment. You will use SAP to manage material movements and ensure accurate inventory in production areas.

The role is a 2nd shift, 10-hour schedule (2:00 PM–12:00 AM, Mon-Fri with occasional Fridays). Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with SAP warehouse operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a GMP environment.
• Overtime availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process and finished goods), parts and supplies, to operators, workstations and distribution center.
• May prepare goods for shipment to the distribution center.
• May be responsible for ordering required materials from outside vendors and offload deliveries and do goods receipts.
• Physically locate the materials in the warehouse and perform SAP transactions.
• Do bin-to-bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA’s.
• Hand load carts/racks equipment and deliver to production areas.
• Run Material Staging in SAP.
• Maintain required levels of materials in the various PSA’s.
• Follow GMP procedures and BD safety policies.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging and supplying materials (raw, work-in-process and finished goods), parts and supplies, to operators, workstations and distribution center

• May prepare goods for shipment to the distribution center

• Complete all necessary SAP Training to obtain the necessary profiles

• May be responsible for ordering required materials from outside vendors and offload all deliveries from outside vendors and do goods receipts for the deliveries

• Physically locate the materials in the warehouse and then perform transactions in SAP to locate them in the system

• Do bin to bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA’s

• Hand load carts/racks equipment and deliver to production areas

• Run Material Staging in SAP

• May evaluate all production schedules and determine materials needed from outside vendors

• Maintain required levels of materials in the various PSA’s

• Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Must follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures

• Must follow all BD safety policies and procedures

• Must be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements

Minimum Requirement:

• High School Diploma or GED

Shift: 2nd shift 10 hr 2:00 PM- 12:00 AM M-F (with occasional Friday)
