Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documentation and technical procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and approve incoming raw materials from suppliers for production use.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical lab equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Assist in troubleshooting raw material issues and develop corrective actions.
• Assist in qualification of alternative materials and pigments for cost-reduction and formulation improvements.
• Perform testing to support customer requests and updates to technical product documentation.
• Provide testing and analytical support to other departments as required.
• Draft new and revised laboratory test methods and procedures with guidance from the Material Technology Manager.
