Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Europe GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Material Technology Lab Technician to support testing and analytical evaluations for raw materials, cost-reduction initiatives, and formulation improvements.

The role includes inspecting and testing incoming materials, maintaining lab equipment, assisting in troubleshooting, and developing test methods in collaboration with the Material Technology Manager.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent with exposure to lab testing and documentation.
• Experience in material testing and analytical evaluations is preferred.
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and approve incoming raw materials.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical lab equipment regularly.
• Assist in troubleshooting raw material issues and corrective actions.
• Develop and qualify alternative raw materials and pigments for cost-reduction and formulation improvements.
• Support customer requests and update technical product documentation.
• Draft new and revised laboratory test methods and procedures.
