Job summary

Allegion in Snoqualmie, WA is seeking a Material Specialist (Strider) to maintain an organized raw material area and provide a continuous flow of materials to machining. A standup forklift is required, and you will perform data entry and inventory tasks to keep production on schedule.

This full-time, hourly non-exempt role offers 40 hours per week with overtime as needed. The compensation is based on experience, with a base hourly range provided by Allegion and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Standup forklift experience is required.
• 2+ years of experience in material distribution, inventory, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred.
• Data entry and computer navigation skills.
• Ability to navigate Material Resource Planning / Enterprise Resource Planning type systems (MRP/ERP).
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and prioritizing multiple tasks along with meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage inventory for machining using standup forklift.
• Perform daily data entry to allocate inventory against Pick Lists and usage.
• Update inventory locations and conduct cycle counts.
• Research and resolve material-related issues.
• Monitor and expedite shortages.
• Print Labels, Pick Lists and BOM documents.
• Unpack, label and stock materials and consumables.
• Maintain 5S in work areas.
• Support inventory, picking, cycle counting, and material distribution.
