Job summary

Allegion plc is seeking a Material Specialist to support production by receiving, staging, and delivering materials. You will operate forklifts, input data into ERP/MRP systems, and perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories.

The role requires 1+ year in material handling, basic computer skills, and a commitment to safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with engineers and quality control personnel, with emphasis on lean processes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1+ year of material handling and inventory experience.
• Basic computer literacy including data entry and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, issue, and deliver materials to support production schedules and orders.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Enter inventory transactions into ERP/MRP systems and run KPI reports.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure safety.
