Job summary

Innovairre in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Material Handler to manage material in our Iowa facility. The role supports a print manufacturing environment, aiming to reduce cost-related errors, exceed client expectations, and maintain a safe workplace.

Ideal candidates may have prior Material Handler experience or be willing to learn. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with benefits after 60 days and onsite work at our Mount Pleasant location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Printstream Software a plus.
• Experience operating electric jacks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and prepares materials according to work orders.
• Supports the mailroom by retrieving and organizing materials.
• Sorts, organizes, and prepares finished products for delivery.
• Operates material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (preferred).
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards and damaged equipment.
• Communicates effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Collaborates to troubleshoot production challenges and improve processes.
• Adheres to safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Job Summary

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Work Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.


• Knowledge of Printstream Software a plus.


• Experience operating electric jacks, pallet jacks, and forklifts is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to lift and move 15-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.


• Able to stand on concrete for 10-12 hours and work in a fast-paced environment.


• Must be able to stoop, bend, and stretch on a regular basis.


• Willingness to work overtime when needed.


• Good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members.


• Must demonstrate reliability through attendance and punctuality.


• Must be able to foster team cooperation.
