Job summary

RTX is seeking a Material Specialist for a weekend shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) performing receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, and delivery tasks. You will operate material handling equipment and follow internal processes to ensure accurate handling and shipping of materials.

The role requires forklift experience or certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance. This onsite position offers comprehensive benefits under RTX’s logistics operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of forklift experience OR forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
• Position is onsite.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials with forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Open containers, cartons, and crates using hand tools.
• Sort and prioritize mail and materials per established priorities.
• Record and update logs and documentation; input transactions into systems.
• Attach labels and prepare materials for shipment.
