Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Material Specialist for the 2nd shift to support core logistics tasks in receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering materials.

You will operate forklifts, load and unload shipments, verify quantities, maintain logs, and collaborate with teams while pursuing required U.S. security clearances. Starting pay rate is $20.12 per hour; onsite role with comprehensive benefits and union support.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience operating lift trucks (forklifts) OR completed forklift certification.
• Experience reading, writing, and comprehending written or verbal instructions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and move materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials, property and items as required.
• Identify and report obvious damage to materials or property.
• Record and verify material quantities and maintain logs.
• May lead cross-functional teams and assist in packaging and labeling.
