Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Material Specialist to support core logistics functions, including Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, Mail and Delivery, onsite at the facility. This role requires forklift operation or certification, the ability to read instructions, lift materials, and maintain accurate logs and documentation while following safety and security rules.

A High School Diploma is required; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, Delivery, Packing, or Shipping.
• 2 years forklift operation experience or certification.

Responsibilities

• Handles Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, Mail and Delivery tasks.
• Loads/unloads materials using forklifts, pallets, carts or cranes.
• Opens containers with hand tools; labels and protects items.
• Counts materials and maintains logs and documentation.
• Follows instructions and may lead cross-functional teams.
• Packages materials and fabricates cushioning/boxes as needed.
• Uses RF scanners and labeling equipment; ensures equipment is safe.
• Loads materials onto vehicles and secures them for transport.
• Maintains safety and adheres to security requirements.
