Job summary

Starting wage is $20.12 per hour. A CDL Class A license with hazardous endorsement and the ability to obtain a secret clearance are required. The job may involve driving, lifting, and operating various material-handling tools.

Qualifications

• Work experience in the core Logistics functions of Receiving, Storing, Issuing, Inventory, Delivery, Packing, and/or Shipping.
• Ability to lift weight in accordance with current OSHA, Bureau of Labor Standards, and Raytheon recommendations and guidelines.
• Requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) CDL Class "A" - manual driving only - w/Hazardous endorsement.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials, property and misc. items on and off incoming trucks or vehicles within the plant and warehouses.
• Opens containers, cartons, wood crates, bundles using hand tools.
• Sorts and prioritizes mail and materials for processing.
• Identifies and reports damage to materials and property.
• Identifies and validates material and quantities against documentation and systems.
• Records and updates logs and documentation; inputs data into systems.
• Follows verbal instructions and accompanying documentation to determine tasks.
• May participate as a team member or leader on cross-functional teams.
• Attaches identifying tags and labeling to materials and containers.
• Uses equipment to perform core logistics tasks and ensures proper maintenance.
• Loads materials onto trucks and secures them for transit.
