Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Forklift Operator in McKenzie, TN to safely transfer materials within the plant, perform maintenance, and keep a clean, safe workspace per safety rules. This FIRST SHIFT role starts at $17.86 per hour with opportunities to contribute to plant operations.

Responsibilities include moving materials with a forklift, adjusting loads, inspecting equipment, and supporting teammates. Ability to obtain forklift certification, lift 50 lbs, and work well with others is required.

Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to obtain forklift certification by successfully completing all required training, tests, and certifications.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and handle complex issues and problems independently.
• Strong ability to understand and follow directions accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Team player attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with plant safety rules.
• Follow all plant work and safety rules to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Forklift Operator – McKenzie, TN

Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team at Allegion/Republic Doors and Frames in McKenzie, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently transferring materials within the plant, performing preventive maintenance, maintaining a clean work environment, and supporting overall plant operations.
