Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a Laborer to support Gel Recycling operations at our facility. The role emphasizes manual labor, material handling, and teamwork to ensure efficient processing and recycling of materials.

Ideal candidates may have a High School diploma or GED and some garbage/recycling experience. Responsibilities include sorting materials, keeping the area clean, assisting machine operators, and maintaining records while following safety guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Garbage/Recycling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Sort recycling materials from conveyor belts, or processing equipment.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
• Assisting Machine Operators: Collaborate with machine operators to ensure the smooth operation of processing equipment.
• Follow instructions to support the processing of recycled material.
• Documentation: Maintain basic records or material movements and activities as required.
• Report any issues, incidents, or observations to supervisors.
• Safety compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Position Summary

The laborer is Gel Recycling is responsible for performing various physical tasks to support the overall operations of the Recycling facility.
