Join to apply for the Material Services - Welding Forklift Operator, 1st Shift & 2nd Shift role at Jefferson Southern Corporation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Follow all safety protocols while operating the forklift.
2. Keep weld cells running by delivering parts and containers to the cells in a timely manner.
3. Transport finished components to the proper storage locations.
4. Scan all moved materials to ensure proper inventory tracking.
5. Remove old shipping tags from empty containers before setting up in the well cells.
6. Notify team leaders when running low on stamping or child parts.
7. Ensure damaged containers are not used in weld cells and take damaged ones for repair outside.
8. Maintain neat and organized parts and assemblies.
9. Keep weld cells tidy, removing unused stamping.
10. Collaborate with other forklift drivers to support production and reduce downtime.
11. Keep forklifts charged and ready for use.
12. Support production using both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
13. Adhere to all safety policies and accident reporting procedures.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification required.
• Experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Environmental & Physical Demands:

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, loud noise. Physical activities include handling objects, standing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
