Brenntag is seeking a Market & Procurement liaison to assist the Industry Market Manager with a portfolio of North American suppliers. You will analyze market trends, forecast product demand, and coordinate with teams to ensure on-time fulfillment and optimal inventory turns.

Responsibilities include assisting with pricing strategy, supplier relationships, and product line planning. A background in science/business and strong communication skills are required for collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required; specialized courses in target industries are assets.
• Experience in sales or product within chemical distribution or related industry preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Marketing & pricing capabilities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Industry Market Manager (IMM) with assigned supplier group on North America focus.
• Analyze market trends and forecast products to achieve inventory turns and dead stock targets.
• Coordinate with IMM across order fulfilment and transportation to meet inventory minimums and deadlines.
• Support pricing changes based on market intelligence provided by IMM or supplier base.
• Assist in building product line strategies for select markets and foster supplier relationships.
