Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Material Receiver/Handler to join our manufacturing team in Houston. The role involves receiving raw material, inspecting products for order accuracy and quality, and supporting production goals while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

After training, you will use an overhead crane to unload/move products, perform regular cycle counts, and document quality checks with basic measuring tools. High school diploma and at least 1 year in a similar role are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a similar position.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and maintain a safe working environment.
• Receive raw material including inspections, verify packing lists, unload and sort material.
• Stage material for production using Work Orders to ensure material is available at the workstation when needed.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Perform safety checks on devices and equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect quality using basic gauges and visual checks, document results where applicable.
