Job summary

CSAT Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to receive, ship, label and stage materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Houston, TX. You will verify quantities, load/unload materials, and prepare paperwork while maintaining quality standards and safety.

Requirements include at least 2 years in material handling, basic computer skills, and intermediate English. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and continuous improvement in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in material handling preferred.
• Able to utilize manual moving equipment including pallet jacks, carts.
• Basic familiarity with computer use required.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervision.
• Intermediate English abilities required.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and/or ships materials to include packaging, labeling and staging
• Verifies quantities of incoming and outgoing materials
• Loads and unloads material
• Gathers parts/product/materials for issue or distribution to shipping or other cross-functional departments
• Completes necessary paperwork accurately
• Performs housekeeping duties; such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing materials to maintain a safe working environment
• Assists with the transaction of materials in shop floor system
• Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
• May conduct visual mechanical inspection to identify cosmetic issues
• May use isopropyl alcohol or similar substances to clean products
• May perform some data entry and filing
• May perform other duties as assigned
