Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Material Quality Engineering Co-Op for the Spring 2027 season. This 6-month assignment supports the production of gas filtration products for the semiconductor industry.

You will perform supplier quality data analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and supplier scorecard maintenance, while applying engineering drawings and technical specs. 40 hours/week, M-F 8a-5p, starting January.

Qualifications

• Exposure to engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with technical documentation and data organization.
• Basic data analysis experience (Excel, Minitab, or similar).
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supplier quality data analysis and trending.
• Raw material root cause investigations.
• Implement corrective actions for quality issues internally and with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and quality documentation.
• Audit preparation and follow-up actions.
• Drawing and specification validation projects.
• Continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction.
