Qualifications

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in supply chain, finance, operations, project management, or program management.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with suppliers.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
  • Experience in Material Forecasting, MRP, EAC, and/or EV; supply chain in Aerospace/Defense.
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution.
  • Provide supply chain support for RLPM (RTX Lifecycle Program Management).
  • Create, manage, and execute Material Program Strategy (MPS) and Material Program Plan (MPP) to enable execution from front end to contract closure.
  • Prepare and present status slides during team tag-ups, program and customer reviews.
  • Participate in weekly supplier engagements to ensure performance.
  • Maintain the MRP environment and program schedules balancing supply and demand.
  • Own supplier and finance management processes (risk/opportunity, line of balance, metrics, forecasts).
  • Assist procurement with RFPs/RFQs and expedite urgent tasks.

U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret

Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

What You Will Do
  • Work closely with program and partnering functions to ensure successful supplier management and execution in support of program needs and requirements.
  • Provide Supply Chain support for RLPM (RTX Lifecycle Program Management).
  • Create, manage, and execute Material Program Strategy (MPS) and the Material Program Plan (MPP) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance, from the front end of the business through contract closure.
  • Provide status by preparing and presenting slides and files during team tag-ups, daily/weekly program meetings, and monthly program & customer reviews.
  • Participate in weekly supplier engagements to ensure required performance is met.
  • Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and the programs’ schedule within that environment while balancing supply and demand to allow for an executable schedule.
  • Own the supplier and finance management process (i.e., Risk/Opportunity, Line of Balance, Metrics, Material sales forecasts).
  • Assist procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s).
  • Proactively address and complete urgent supply chain tasking (Purchase Requisitions integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), Purchase Order follow up).
  • Provide pertinent information to procurement in order to expedite ordering and receipt of parts to ensure continuous production.
  • Communicate program status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders, including Raytheon senior management, customers, and suppliers.
  • Domestic travel not more than 20%.
Qualifications
  • You Must Have Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in supply chain, finance, operations, project management, and/or program management role.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with suppliers.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Experience in Material Forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material Estimate at Complete (EAC), and/or Earned Value (EV) Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
  • Experience with government regulations (i.e. FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.).
What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
