Raytheon is seeking a Materials Program Manager to support a special program within the Naval Air Missile strategic business unit. You will ensure overall program execution of materials management, including cost/schedule/quality, and manage supplier performance.

The role reports to the Program MPM Leads and Operations Leads with accountability to the Program Management Office and requires experience in risk management, contracting, and negotiating.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience in presenting to leadership and cross functional program leads.
• Experience in navigating the execution of processes, projects, and tactics, understanding the impact of the work.

Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support a special program within the Naval Air Missile strategic business unit.

The MPM is accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management including cost/schedule/quality, and management of supplier performance.

This MPM role will report directly to the Program MPM Leads and Operations Leads, with accountability to the Program Management Office.

This is an elevated MPM role which requires practical knowledge and experience in navigating the execution of processes, projects, and tactics, understanding the impact of the work as it relates to AOP and other stake holder areas within the organization.

The successful candidate will have financial, contracting, proposal development and negotiating experience and have project management responsibilities including, but not limited to risk and opportunity management, briefing in customer forums, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

• Understand and define operations current state and use a combination of data analytics and qualitative methods to develop a prioritized set of opportunities and associated defined initiatives to impact operations strategic objectives.
• Identify, develop and execute specific opportunities to optimize our operations and supply operations, scope projects and develop action plans to drive them to closure.
• Create and implement supply chain strategies, identify key gaps / pain points and critical areas for innovation, supported by corresponding roadmaps Partner on planning and overseeing strategic process improvements around internal and external supply chain processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience in presenting to leadership and cross functional program leads.
• Experience in navigating the execution of processes, projects, and tactics, understanding the impact of the work.
• Experience in EVMS, EAC and AOP.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business.
• Experience in top-tier management consulting and/or internal strategy operations.
• Experience analyzing data and developing and presenting compelling presentations to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Experience with supplier management, strategic sourcing, and/or supplier assessments.

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
