Shift Schedule:

1st Shift Starting Pay: $28.35/hour

Summary: Responsible for resolving issues and follow-up on purchase orders, including handling grief issues.

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of various purchasing and MRP systems, receiving report processing, and shipping regulations.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Resolving grief issues
  • Determining actions needed to correct problems
  • Contacting all parties involved via phone, fax, or email to process shipments and receipts
  • Following up on orders not received as requested
  • Updating customers on order status
  • Performing order revisions, including price adjustments and schedule changes
  • Analyzing and verifying customer orders
  • Setting up new supplier and customer information
  • Providing interpretation and problem-solving advice within the team
  • Training new hires
  • Monitoring exceptions and reporting trends
  • Collaborating with global transportation to track shipments
  • Handling system grief from errors and discrepancies
  • Managing reports to ensure accuracy and prevent supply issues

Part of a team that collaborates with suppliers to ensure material availability in a high-paced manufacturing environment. Responsible for managing and analyzing inventory, identifying waste reduction opportunities, and collaborating on inventory goals.

Review reports and metrics to identify issues or opportunities, communicate status, and perform necessary order revisions. Serve as a specialist providing insights and problem-solving advice.
