Shift Schedule:

1st Shift Starting Pay: $28.35/hour

Summary: Responsible for resolving issues related to purchase orders and follow-up on purchase and grievance issues.

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of purchasing and MRP systems, processing receiving reports, and understanding shipping regulations.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Resolve all grievance issues.
  • Determine necessary actions to correct problems.
  • Contact all involved parties via phone, fax, or email to coordinate shipments and receipts.
  • Follow up on pending orders.
  • Communicate order status to customers.
  • Perform order revisions, including pricing, scheduling, and purchase order management.
  • Analyze and verify customer orders.
  • Set up new supplier and customer information.
  • Analyze sources, verify, and process orders; serve as a specialist providing advice and problem-solving support.
  • Train new hires.
  • Monitor exceptions, report trends, and assist material planners in identifying and fixing issues. Escalate issues when necessary. Collaborate with global transportation to track shipments. Address system errors like batch job failures, ECC errors, inbound receiving errors, and consumption errors. Manage and verify out-of-sync reports and single POs for accuracy and closure to prevent supply issues.

Join a team that collaborates with suppliers to ensure material availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Manage and analyze $1M-$8M of inventory to eliminate waste and optimize stock levels. Work with cross-functional teams to meet inventory goals.

Review reports and metrics to identify issues or opportunities. Take necessary actions and communicate with all parties regarding order status via phone, email, or in person. Perform order revisions and serve as an internal expert providing insights and problem-solving advice.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and MRP systems.
  • Experience following guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze information critically for decision-making.
  • Recall specifics quickly and accurately.
  • Effective communication skills for emails, calls, and meetings.
  • Ability to resolve problems collaboratively with internal and external customers.
  • Discipline and ability to manage workload independently.
  • Work well under pressure, handle stress professionally, and uphold ethical standards.
  • Strong teamwork; willing to assist others and accept guidance.
  • Willingness to improve performance through learning and adaptation.
  • Dependable in completing tasks with minimal guidance, consistently and successfully.

Summary Pay Range:

$28.35 - $35.45

Salary varies based on multiple factors including experience, location, and performance. Total compensation includes more than just salary.
