Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Material Planner in Davenport, IA to manage procurement and inventory to support production schedules and meet customer demand. You will work with suppliers, production teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.

The role requires 1–3 years in materials planning or related, associates degree preferred. This onsite contract position offers a pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP for planning.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain material requirements plans (MRP) based on production schedules, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials according to production needs and lead times.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to prevent stockouts.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule material deliveries.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Analyze demand patterns and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve material availability risks.
