Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking a MATERIAL PLANNER 2 in Goose Creek, SC. This role supports production by listing materials, parts, and accessories from blueprints, and coordinating with purchasing to prepare purchase orders.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years of related education or experience. This is a full-time on-site position with no relocation assistance and no telework eligibility.

Qualificações

• High School/GED and 2 years of additional education and/or experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares lists of materials, accessories, and parts used in production following engineering and design blueprints.
• Examines blueprints, identifies parts code, computes quantity needed, and lists total material requirements including contract numbers, routing, and special handling instructions.
• Submits list to purchasing department for use in preparing purchase orders.
