Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business or related field or 4+ years’ experience in material planning incl. MRP.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar) for planning and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of inventory control techniques and proactive issue resolution.
• Bilingual ability and knowledge of customs or international shipping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan material needs using MRP and production schedules to prevent shortages or surpluses.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels with regular audits and cycle counts.
• Coordinate purchase orders/releases with suppliers and expedite deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehousing to support schedules.
• Monitor lead times, costs, and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and adherence to company policies.
