Job summary

General Atomics is seeking a Material Planner to support the Material Control group in Rancho Bernardo, CA. The role involves planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting, expediting, and purchasing for research-related or production projects, with guidance from senior staff.

You will interact with Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, and QA to collect data, monitor progress, and alert management to deviations. A DoD security clearance eligibility is required for this position.

• Bachelor's degree; 3+ years planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist scheduling, budgeting, analysis, reporting, expediting, and purchasing for projects.
• Provide data for schedules and reports and alert management to deviations.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Contracts, Finance, and QA to gather data.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and DoD security requirements.
• Support long-range and short-range planning and adjust schedules as needed.
