Job summary

ABB Installation Products Inc. in Mt Juliet, TN is seeking an Inventory Planner to own end-to-end inventory planning, from purchase requisitions to customer invoicing, while supporting internal customer service inquiries daily.

You will define inventory policies, manage safety stock and reorder points, coordinate material planning with buyers, and partner with operations to ensure timely replenishment using SAP, Excel, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with 2+ years relevant work experience in Materials Planning, Sourcing, and Logistics.
• Associate's degree in Materials/Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field with 7+ years relevant work experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of integrated ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• APICS / ISM or equal supply chain certifications.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Solid time management and organization skills.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Candidates already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

This position reports to: Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for end-to-end planning of inventory, including Sales in Excess of invoicing from purchase requisition to customer invoice.

Each day, you will support internal customer service inquiries.

You will also showcase your skills by setting inventory parameters and targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders.

This role is contributing to the ABB Smart Power division at the Regional Distribution Center in Mt Juliet, TN.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Solid time management and organization skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel required, and Power BI proficiency.
